A Prayer for Strength

Father, Many of us our weary, we have been fighting for our freedoms for a long time. Right now it seems as though the enemy is winning. We know the outcome already, but there are times in the midst of the battle we are frustrated and tired. Help us to continue to lean into You even more. Your Word says when we pass through the waters, You will be with us; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow us. And when we walk through the fire, we shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch us.(Isaiah 43:2) During Joshua’s battle with the Amalekites, and so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. (Exodus 17:11) Help us to hold each other up in this battle, that we may prevail over the enemy. Father, we cannot do it without you. We yield to you constantly. You are for us and not against us. Strengthen our reserve, as we trust the outcome to You almighty Father. We see the great and severe troubles, but You shall revive us again, and bring us up again from the depths of the earth. You shall increase our greatness as a nation, and comfort us on every side. You have commanded our strength, strengthen O God, what You have done for us! We declare the strength of the Lord as our portion right now! In Jesus name, Amen!
